We love adding greenery to any space we design. Whether they are real plants or faux its can be the perfect finishing touch to any room. Here are some simple ways to add greenery into your space.

FROM YOUR LOCAL GROCERY STORE

A quick and inexpensive way to add some greenery into your hone is with some fresh greens and fruit or vegetables from your local store. Trader Joes usually has inexpensive greens and branches with their florals. This is one of my favorite ways to add greenery because its not permanent and you can change it out frequently.

LARGE PLANTS AND TREES

A large faux or real tree can help add greenery and fill up an empty corner in your space. This faux olive tree above at our Sells project is our go to for all our projects. At our Montecito project we added this real Fiddle Leaf Fig Tree to help fill up an empty corner and add some color to the room. If you don’t have a green thumb, this large faux fiddle leaf is our go to right now.

POTTED PLANTS AND SUCCULENTS

Sometimes just adding some simple potted plants and succulents to your kitchen or bathroom counter can really help add some color and finish off your space. We use both real and faux plants depending on the light in the room (and who is tending them ;)). Scroll down to see some of our favorite faux plants to throw in a fun pot.

ORCHIDS

Another great find from your local store or floral shop is an orchid. We love the organic shape and color it brings to a space and we often gift our clients an orchid on a photoshoot day! (shhh don’t tell them!)

We understand that not everyone is blessed with a green thumb and sometimes faux plants are the next best thing. Here are some of our favorite faux plants and succulents we like to use in our projects.
