ROUNDUP: FAVORITE BATH TOWELS

There is nothing like a luxurious bath towel to wrap around you after a nice bath or shower. Personally, I like to change up my towels at least once a year in my home. It is an easy way to freshen up the look of your bathroom without breaking the bank. When I go to style a bathroom we have designed, I always bring in new towels for our clients. You can’t have a new bathroom without new towels! The towels must have two requirements, they must look good (since they are always on display) and they must feel good! Scroll down to see some of our go to towels for our home and clients and some that we are loving right now.

Baskets are a good way to store extra towels, especially if you have limited storage in your bath. We love this basket and check out this post for more cute baskets. These towels are sold out but I have found similar here.

These towels are always our go to for the luxurious spa like classic white towel. See more of this bathroom design here.

We love to throw in pretty hand towels for our clients at their sinks. These hand towels come in lots of colors and are really good quality.

THANKSGIVING TABLE

Even though this year will look a lot different for Thanksgiving, we are still trying to keep it as normal as possible. This year we will be hosting Thanksgiving with just our immediate family. Since it will be small and intimate everyone will be able to sit around our dining table. Here are some inspiration pics of how I want to set the table this year. Bring in all the fall colors with amber glass, terracotta and gold tones. Of course there will be plenty of greenery and fall flowers, oh and wine! Hope you have a Happy Thanksgiving! BEFORE & AFTER: GELDING KITCHEN

We are so excited to finally reveal the before and after of one of our most recent kitchen remodels. This kitchen was also featured here on Becki Owens Transformation Tuesday. The original kitchen was dark and dreary. It felt small and had a weird flow to it. We decided to take the new cabinets to the ceiling and enlarge the island to make the kitchen feel bigger. We also flip flopped the refrigerator and the wall oven to make the kitchen flow better. Wouldn’t you want your wall oven right next to your stove top? These are the details we think about when designing a new kitchen.

The pantry space for this kitchen is built-in in the breakfast nook. Originally the pantry cabinets were an odd shape and made the room seem off balance. We decided to take the new cabinets to the ceiling as well as widened them to take up the entire wall. This gave our clients tons more storage plus made the cabinets feel like they should be there and not just an add on.
